Electronic and/or Embedded Engineer
SENIOR: 5+ YEARS
Lead the design of complex electronic and embedded systems, making the architecture decisions that determine whether a product is reliable, manufacturable, and accurate once it's deployed across more than a hundred sites. You'll set the engineering bar, mentor the team toward it, and stay close to how your work performs long after it leaves the bench — because here it stays in the field for years. Early judgement is everything in hardware; yours will shape devices that run at scale.
The work — You'll own the architecture of electronic and embedded systems: the early decisions on topology, components, firmware and manufacturability that decide whether a device is reliable at scale. You'll set the engineering standard, mentor the team, run the reviews that catch problems before production, and stay close to field performance over the years a device is in service.
You'll thrive here if — you've been burned enough by late-stage surprises to value getting the architecture right first, you can hold hardware and firmware in your head at once, and you want your judgement to shape a team's work and a product's whole life — not just one revision.
The right decision at the schematic stage is worth a hundred fixes in the field.
